Terms

Our terms, in plain English

Last updated 1 November 2026.

Part 1 is for when you work with us: advice calls, builds, and looking after what we build. Part 2 is for using this website, including the free automation plan.

Part 1: Working with us

1. Who we are

TaskCraft is a trading name of Rindle LTD, registered in England and Wales, company no. 17015797, registered office 32 Sea Road, Bexhill-on-Sea, TN40 1ED. "We" and "us" means Rindle LTD. "You" means the business we're working with. You can reach us at hello@taskcraft.co.uk.

2. Who these terms are for

We work with businesses, including sole traders and charities. When you book anything with us, you're confirming that you're booking it for your business, not for personal use.

3. How we agree a job

Before any paid work, we email you a quote. It says what we'll do, what it costs, roughly when it'll be ready, and whether it includes looking after it. When you accept it in writing, by email is fine, you're agreeing to the quote and these terms. If the quote and these terms ever disagree, the quote wins.

4. Advice calls

5. Builds

6. Looking after it

7. What we need from you

8. Other companies' services, and AI

Our automations connect to other companies' services, such as Google, Telegram, WhatsApp, Xero and AI providers. They set their own rules and prices, and can change or stop a feature without warning. We aren't responsible for their services. If a change of theirs breaks something we look after, fixing it is part of looking after it. Otherwise, we'll quote for the fix.

Some of these services charge for what an automation uses, such as the AI that reads a receipt. We tell you what to expect before we start, and those costs are yours unless your quote says otherwise.

Where an automation uses AI to read or write something, it can occasionally get things wrong. We build in checks, and nothing goes to your customers without you seeing it first unless you've asked for that. You're responsible for checking what's sent in your name and what goes into your books.

9. Paying us

10. Your customers' information

When our automations handle personal information for you, such as your customers' names and messages, you're in charge of it: the law calls you the "controller". We handle it on your behalf, as your "processor". Your quote says what each automation does with personal information, what kind it is and whose it is, usually your customers', suppliers' or staff's. This section applies for as long as we build or run anything for you.

Most of the information stays in your own accounts, such as your spreadsheet, inbox and online storage. The automation passes it through: the record of a run that works is deleted automatically within about 15 minutes. Records of runs that fail are kept for up to 48 hours so we can fix the problem, then deleted. Our backups never include them.

We will:

Our automation server is run by OVHcloud, in London. Services in your own name, such as your own Google account, are between you and that company.

11. Who owns what

Your information and your accounts are yours. Once you've paid for a build in full, you can use, copy and change the automation for your business however you like, or have someone else change it. We keep the right to reuse our general know-how and the building blocks we use across jobs, but never your information.

12. Keeping things confidential

We keep what we learn about your business confidential, and only share it where the work needs it or the law requires it.

13. If something goes wrong

14. Ending things

Either of us can end our work together straight away, by email, if the other seriously breaks these terms and doesn't put it right within 14 days of being asked. You pay for the work done up to then. Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by things outside our reasonable control, such as a major internet outage.

15. The small print
